Privacy Policy
UACC is committed to upholding the highest standards of data security, institutional confidentiality, and privacy across our platforms, advisory operations, and cooperative partner systems.
1. Institutional Commitment to Privacy
UACC ("we", "us", or "our") designs, builds, and maintains technology architectures, enterprise platforms (including CoopSuite, CoopMRM, CoopCorn, CoopWiki, CoopPeople, CoopBhava, CoopStartup, CoopTimes, and Coop100), and institutional advisory frameworks for cooperative societies.
We recognize that cooperative societies are democratic, community-owned entities whose member registers, share allotments, financial transactions, and committee minutes require the strictest institutional safeguards. This Privacy Policy outlines our principles regarding the collection, handling, processing, and protection of personal and institutional data in compliance with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023, applicable state cooperative statutes, and international privacy best practices.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information only when strictly necessary to fulfill institutional engagements, support cooperative software implementations, or respond to legitimate inquiries:
- Consultation & Inquiry Information: Full name, society or organization name, official email address, telephone/WhatsApp number, purpose of consultation, and submitted inquiries via contact.html.
- Careers & Recruitment Data: Candidate name, contact details, curriculum vitae, portfolio/LinkedIn URLs, statement of purpose, and professional credentials submitted to contact@uacc.in or via our careers portal.
- Platform Operational Records: For societies utilizing our software platforms (e.g. CoopSuite or CoopMRM), customer data processing is governed by specific institutional Master Service Agreements (MSAs). UACC acts solely as a secure data processor under the direct mandate of the society.
- Technical Metadata & Logs: Anonymous telemetry, browser type, operating system, and standard server log records used strictly for system security, uptime monitoring, and cyber defense.
3. Purpose and Legal Basis for Processing
We process collected data exclusively for explicit, legitimate, and lawful purposes:
- To evaluate and respond to consultation requests from cooperative leaders, board members, and government authorities.
- To provide technical maintenance, statutory ledger support, and enterprise updates for societies licensed under our platform ecosystem.
- To evaluate qualified candidates for engineering, advisory, research, and social impact positions at UACC.
- To safeguard our digital infrastructure against fraudulent activity, unauthorized penetration, or operational disruption.
UACC does NOT sell, rent, monetize, or broker personal or institutional data under any circumstances.
4. Cooperative Data Ownership & Confidentiality
In our enterprise solutions (such as CoopSuite and CoopMRM), member registers, financial ledgers, and committee minutes remain the exclusive, sovereign property of the respective cooperative society.
UACC does not claim ownership over any society records. Access to production data by UACC engineers is restricted strictly to authorized technical personnel under explicit contractual instructions from the client society, protected by multi-factor authentication (MFA) and encrypted audit logs.
5. Data Storage, Security & Localization
UACC adheres to strict Indian data residency requirements. All operational data and primary server instances are hosted within secure, ISO 27001-certified data center facilities situated within the Republic of India.
We implement industry-standard cryptographic protection, including TLS 1.3 encryption in transit and AES-256 encryption at rest, along with automated vulnerability scanning, daily disaster recovery snapshots, and granular role-based access control (RBAC).
6. Individual Rights Under the DPDP Act
Subject to statutory limits under Indian law, data principals hold the following rights:
- Right to Access: The right to obtain a summary of personal data processed by UACC.
- Right to Correction & Erasure: The right to request correction of inaccurate data or deletion of data no longer required for legitimate or statutory purposes.
- Right of Grievance Redressal: The right to seek resolution of concerns from our designated Data Grievance Officer.
